Hi Friends. I've been thinking about what direction to take the site this year since our revenue has been lacking. Our writers are good but it's been difficult to build up a loyal group of readers. I think this is partly due to vast number of sites out there these days - competition is tough and attention spans are limited.
That said, I know there are a small number of you that keep coming back I really appreciate it.
You may have noticed that the earnings haven't budged much lately. This is because of the way the Adbrite system works. When a site like this one isn't selling ad space Adbrite will sell the empty space to a special list of advertisers as a kind of filler. Unfortunately we dont see much of that revenue (if any).
Perhaps the best solution this year is to just continue spreading the word about the site. I've been talking with some folks who might be able to help with this. If you have any thoughts on the matter feel free to comment!
