Nata Village
I came upon this website via rocketboom.com today. Its quite similar to ours but they are dedicated to one village in particular in Africa. They get their revenue from donations. I think they've brought in a few hundred dollars already.
To be quite honest I'm pretty envious of their success. Our earnings aren't anywhere near what they should be at this point. I'm still dedicated to our advertising based business model however and think it can be just as good as donation based sites.
